We postponed the party for the following weekend. It worked out pretty well, except a few people ended up not being able to come. Brad and Gina couldn't make it because their nephew's party had been postponed to the same day. But, we were able to have them come out to the house for a little bit to see Izzy on Saturday. They brought her birthday and Christmas presents! She was excited when she opened them up. I don't think Brad and Justin could put them together fast enough! And a little bonus, they brought their niece Cadence and nephew Hunter over too! Izzy had so much fun playing with Cadence (she is about 1 1/2). They played with all the new toys and had fun. It was a great evening and it wore little Izzy out. She fell asleep minutes after they left and even slept in on Sunday!
We had a great turnout for Izzy's birthday party on Sunday. Her theme was ladybug. I had been planning it for almost the whole year! My dad helped me with the food and made her smash cake. I made cupcakes for everyone else. She had so much fun walking around the house and looking at all the presents that were waiting on the table to be opened. She didn't really get the hang of opening presents and kept moving from one thing to the next. She got some fantastic toys and clothes! She had her smash cake and did really good! She was getting tired and started getting a little upset when she couldn't get the icing off her hands. But, she dove right in and started to eat it! We had such a blast with her and everyone that came!
