Memorial Day & Weekend Fun

What a busy weekend we had!  Saturday we ventured out to Waxahachie to check out the Renaissance Festival.  It was pretty fun!  Izzy had a blast people watching and going through the petting zoo.  I think she enjoyed seeing all the animals that she normally sees in her books.  She knows all their sounds so she got to see them in real life this time!  After we got home, Justin planted a few plants around the patio for me and Izzy and I played in the sprinkler and hit dad a few times with the water.  

On Sunday, we went to church and then headed out to Ray Roberts Lake to see Justin's parents.  They rented a campsite for the long weekend so we went and had lunch with them.  We went to the beach and Izzy played in the water.  She loved it, especially playing in the sand with Grandma Kendall and making mud pies and then throwing them at her daddy.  She was happy to be outside all day and we are excited to take her back one weekend!  We got home, had some dinner, gave Izzy a bath, played a little bit and put Izzy to bed.

On Monday, we decided to take it easy.  We had a slow go in the morning after breakfast.  Izzy and I went to Target to do some much needed grocery shopping while Justin stayed home and worked in the garage putting shelves together for my craft closet.  After we got back, Izzy took a nice long nap and I cleaned.  Later we walked to my parent's house and had dinner with them.  Then it was back home for Izzy's bath and bedtime.
