25 Week Check Up

Last Friday we went in for our 25 week check up.  We had to have another sonogram because little Izzy wouldn't turn the right direction last time so they could see the four chambers of her heart.  This time, she was in the right position when they started!  Yay Izzy!  I don't mind having an extra sonogram.  It sure is fun to watch her move around.  We could see her kick and punch me in the stomach and then feel it.  So strange!  She is quite the mover.  After the sonogram, I had to have my glucose test done.  It tasted a like an over-sweetened non-carbonated Sunkist.  It wasn't horrible and I got it down.  Still waiting on those results to come back.  After that we saw the doctor.  She talked to us for a few minutes and measured my belly.  She smiled and said perfect!  She is very pleased with how everything is progressing.  According to Baby Center Izabell is about 13 1/2 inches long and weighs about 1 1/2 lbs.  After visiting the OB we headed next door to make another blood donation to our Hematologist.  We go back to visit with him next week.
