Well, it has just been a little crazy around our house for the past couple of months. Since Halloween, it seems we have been running around trying to get things done. For the most part it has been business as usual around the Kendall house. Izzy goes in for her 2 year check up on December 31st so we will post how that goes soon. A week after Thanksgiving it was time to celebrate Izzy's 2nd birthday (oh my!). Then we hit the ground running to get Christmas shopping and events squeezed in. So you may start to see a few posts coming up as I try and get caught up before the new year starts!
Over the long Thanksgiving weekend, Justin and I decided to tackle potty training with Izzy. She has been doing really well so far! We are down to just 1 or 2 accidents a day and she is starting to tell us when she has to go. Being out and about is another story though. She doesn't want to sit on the "big potty" at stores without her step stool. She sits on it at home but not out. So, we may invest in a portable one, which would probably be handy anyway! We started out with a small potty that was close to the ground for her and within the past week or so, she has decided to use the "big potty". She wears pull ups at night and while we are out and her big girl training underwear during the day while we are home. My mom has really been working with her since she is with her during the day and Izzy is doing great!
We have celebrated Izzy's 2nd birthday, decorated cookies, saw the Trains at North Park Mall, shopped til we dropped, crafted and have had a blast living our crazy lives these past months. So let the posting begin....
