July 4th Weekend

On Friday, we invited all the grandparents to go to the zoo!  Izzy had such a good time.  I don't know if she was more excited to see the animals or to be walking and running around all day.  Poor thing passed out before we got to the highway.  It was a fun day, and I am glad we got to take her.  

After the zoo we stayed home for a while so she could finish up her nap and then we went to my parent's house for burgers and over to Sonic for some ice cream.  After that is was home and to bed for the little one.  She wasn't going to make it to 9:30 to see the fireworks so opted to stay home instead.  

On Saturday, we ran a few errands and did some grocery shopping.  We stayed home the rest of the day and had my parents over for some s'mores.  It was a little too hot out with the fire pit going so we only made a couple and went inside!

On Sunday, Justin took my mom to the gun show.  She finally got herself a gun.  :)  While they were gone Izzy and I played, went for a walk and had lunch.  Then Grandpa wanted to get out to grab some lunch for himself so we went with him.  After that Izzy went down for a nap and Justin and I started cleaning out stuff to prep for a garage sale.  My goodness, we have a lot of stuff!  We haven't touched most of it since we were married.  It was either handed down to us or we just don't need it anymore.  We got through the kitchen, our closet and game room.  Still have a few more rooms and the attic to go through, but we are making progress!
