10 Months!

Another month has flown by.  It is already October and you are 10 months old!  Stop growing please!  

• You are quite the busy little girl.
• You don't really care to be in your jumpers anymore.  Those were your favorite things to play in, but now you need to be free to move!
• You have not met a stranger.  You smile at EVERYONE that passes by.  You love kids and get really excited when you see one. 
• We have been introducing more finger foods to you, but you don't seem to be very interested.  We put carrots, apples, bananas, sweet potato and others on your plate for you to work on picking up food, but most of the time you would rather not.  But, if we put the yogurt melts and puffs in front of you, they are gone in seconds.  Must be a texture thing.  We aren't sure.  All we can do is keep trying.  
• You are starting to stand on your own for a few seconds at a time.  
• You like to walk and push things around the house.  We all seem to think you will be walking by the end of the month.
• You have been pointing at things around the house that you recognize.
• You wave Hi and Bye to everyone and everything.
• Your schedule hasn't changed much in the past month.  Bottle at 7, nap, breakfast at 9, bottle/sippy cup of milk at 11, nap, lunch at 2, sippy cup of milk and a snack at 4, nap, dinner at 6, bath at 7:30, bottle at 8 and off to bed at 8:30.  
• We are starting to put your milk in sippy cups during the day.  You don't seem to mind and drink it rather quickly.
• You love to go to the nursery at church so you can play with all the little ones, but you are also happy to see us when we pick you up.
• So far you have not had any issues about being dropped off with someone when we leave to go somewhere.  You happily wave bye bye and off we go.
• You have 4 teeth and are working on number 5.
• You are wearing 9 month clothes, and we are getting ready to move you to 12 month pants.  Those legs are long!
